  • Every year around the holidays, the Ultimate Ventures team has the opportunity to thank one the nicest, hardest working, dedicated groups of unsung heroes in town.

On December 13th in a giant warehouse filled with toys and bicycles, the UV elves served breakfast to 225 caseworkers and volunteers from Community Partners of Dallas (CPD). These caseworkers work with abused and neglected children from our area, and this event is their chance to go “shopping” for Christmas gifts for the kids in their care. This day is so important to the caseworkers, in fact, that some even sleep in their cars overnight in order to secure a top spot in the shopping queue. By the time the doors open, they are ready for a hot cup of coffee and something yummy to eat. We love being part of this special event and getting their morning started with a smile!

UV also donated 75 stuffed animals on behalf of our local hotel partners for distribution at CPD’s Last Stop Holiday shop. We have no doubt these super huggable toys will be cherished by their new owners this holiday season.

This breakfast has become a popular Every Month Matters tradition with 2018 being our 6th year to participate.

    About Every Month Matters
Dallas-Fort Worth DMC, Ultimate Ventures, created our internal CSR program, Every Month Matters, to measure our success not only by delivering fabulous client meetings and events, but also by serving our community. Each month, our team takes time to focus on what truly matters – helping others. We select a local charity with a goal of fulfilling one or more of their needs. Since the launch of this program, the destination management team at Ultimate Ventures has participated in well over 100 projects/charities to enrich our community.
